Our simple 7 steps to your new home
In 7 simples steps TCB Affordable Homes can have your new home designed, built and ready to deliver to your site.

Initial design consultation and site visit
Select from our range of contemporary architecturally designed studio, 1, 2, 3 or 4 bedroom homes. We will discuss your proposed site and other things you need to consider when planning your build - ensuring you are comfortable with the process.

Quotation and finance
We’ll compile a comprehensive proposal for you. At this stage we advise that you complete any finance arrangements to ensure there are no unnecessary delays in the construction of your new home.

Final review and deposit
With finance approved, the contract is signed and the initial deposit paid. We will supply you with a payment plan and a final set of plans that you can take to your preferred engineer.

Council and building approvals
You will need to take your plans to your preferred surveyor and engineer who can conduct soil and wind tests on your property. They will also produce plans and specifications and submit them to your local council for approval. The approval process usually takes between 9-12 weeks.

Building process
Now it all becomes a reality. Once the building starts, it moves quickly! The building process usually takes between 6-8 weeks. During this time, we advise you to organise your preferred suppliers to connect utilities such as power, water and NBN on your property. We can recommend contractors if required.

Final review and payment
Once the build is complete we will invite you to inspect your new home before it is prepared for transport. Progress payment will also be made at this time.

Ready for delivery
Ready to roll! Once transport is organised, we will load it up and it will be on its way to the location for your new home.
